The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
